2.19.2016

On Friday, February 19th at 8:30 in the morning, Truman Ayr entered into the world announcing himself with gurgling sounds and sweet coos!  Weighing in at 8 pounds 3 ounces, he is 20 inches of pure, chunky perfection!  He is a calm cuddler who has already worked his way into our hearts.
Sara and Truman are both doing well.  Compared to an emergency cesarian, the planned cesarian proved to be less intense and stressful on momma and baby, which we are all thankful for.
Truman has dark blue eyes that he likes to tease, but he has spent most of these past 72 hours with his eyes closed, embracing the sweet cuddles he has been receiving.
Arguably, no one was more excited to meet Truman than his big brother Winston.  Upon being greeted by the security guard at the hospital, Winston promptly said "I'm here to see Truman Ayr Cozad....and I'm a big brother!" I don't think I have ever seen a more proud face shown by our oldest little guy.
We have been treasuring these calm moments around the hospital with no work, no chores, and lots of time to spend together loving on Truman.
Thank you to all of you who have sent us emails or lifted us up in your prayers.  We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to introducing you all to Truman in the weeks ahead!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Favorite Pinterest Pins

Today's Show & Tell Tuesday prompt from Andrea is to share favorite Pinterest pins!  I am super excited to follow some new folks and get some fresh ideas!

I think like most folks, there is a love/hate relationship that comes into play when Pinterest is involved.  Somethings work great and some things that set you up for a disaster {I'm looking at you strange hotdogs with the noodles in them!  I mean, really?!}  Besides all of that,  it still remains my go to resource for finding new recipes to try for my family.  I also enjoy getting ideas on decorations, picture backdrops and party ideas.

Here are a few of my favorite folks that I follow for super ideas all the way around:
Rachel Hollis of Chic Site

The hubby and I enjoy doing creative projects together. Here are a few that we have documented!

This board is one where I store all of the yummy things I have and want to try!

And of course desserts get a board of their own!

And since St. Patty's Day is the next holiday to come upon us, here is where I'll be pinning ideas!

Feel free to follow me on Pinterest and I will follow you back!

Kids Behind the Blog: February's Interview

Crystal from Hall Around Texas, along with a few other fantastic ladies, came up with a fun idea to interview the Littles with different questions each month.  I love capturing and storing up the things that Winston says so this captured my attention!

Without further adieu, here is February's Interview!

1.  Where is your favorite place to go?
Donut Palace, because I get to buy donuts there!  I like chocolate sprinkled and you like pink sprinkles and a kolache, Mommy.  And Daddy likes the big cinnamon donut!
2.  Who is your best friend?
Mommy, you are my best friend!  And Devin too because we both like Lightening McQueen.
3.  If you could be a superhero, what would your super power be?
I think I don't want to fly in sky!  I think I would want to run really, really fast like a race car!
4.  What is your favorite candy?
Gummy worms!!
5.  Who is your Valentine?
Taylor because she loves me and plays with me all of the time, Mommy!
The next link-up date is on March 9th!  Will you join in?
